The fit depends on how you plan to use it. Salt Robes are designed as changing robes, so they’re intentionally roomy — wide enough to pull your arms in and get changed inside. If that’s how you’ll use it, follow our size chart.
If you're mainly wearing it as a coat — for walking the dog, staying warm on the sidelines, or winter wear — you might prefer to size down for a less over-sized fit. Check the body and arm length measurements to find your best fit, and if you're between sizes, we recommend sizing down for coat use.
Yes, the Salt Robe has ample storage. On the outside, you’ll find two large fleece-lined pockets with high-quality YKK zips and easy-grab pulls—roomy enough for hats or clothing items. Inside, there’s a fully waterproof zippered pocket (waterproof on both sides) to keep valuables like keys and phones secure. There’s also a second large fleece-lined open pocket, perfect for a travel towel, extra clothing, or even a small flask.

The robe can be wiped down with a sponge or cloth using a mild detergent to get rid of dirt or salt spray.
If you wish to wash it, the robe can be machine washed on a delicates cool or cold cycle only. It should be hung up to dry and not tumble dried as this could damage the fleece lining.
Pilling happens when fleece forms small, hard bobbles on the surface due to friction. Some fleeces can also clump or matt together over time, especially when they absorb moisture or pick up dirt. Salt Fleece is treated with an anti-pilling agent to help prevent bobbling, and it’s designed not to absorb water — helping it stay soft, breathable, and clean for longer. The result? Long-lasting comfort without bobbles or irritation.
